“Can” is not the same as “usually does.” The record for the earliest pregnancy is age five. I don’t want to go around telling people 5 is normal parenting age.
The average age for a woman to have her first child in the US is 28.
In my country it’s even 30. But the average doesn’t matter. The youngest parents you know matter more for considering people potential parents. There are a bunch who were in their early twenties. I know one who was 18, but I’m willing to consider that an outlier.
