I’ve recently switched from windows to Linux Mint after learning about how much support steam has put into Linux gaming. I’ve found my way around packages and alternatives to set myself up similar to my windows experience except for 7.1 surround sound that Razer offered for my 3.5mm connection headphones.
From what I understand, PulseAudio has a module that can be added to simulate surround sound.
The documentation also says to select an audio file that sounds best to me but I have no idea what to do with it, and no idea where to place that HRIR.wave file.
I’ve only used Ubuntu very casually in the past so this is slightly above what I understand. My experience using with using a terminal is limited to super basic things and deleting apps on my android phone from PowerShell in windows so I only really half get what I’m supposed to do at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.
