They took all the trees, put 'em in a tree museum…
Public or private?
That park is shit. The one in Japan even has a bench
The one in Nagaizumi didn’t find it necessary to call theirs a park until someone from the city visited Portland. Or so local embittered Portland residents say.
Looks like a lovely spot to have an eternal campfire.
In 1948 the site that would become Mill Ends Park was intended to be the site for a light pole. When the pole failed to appear and weeds sprouted in the opening, Dick Fagan, a columnist for *[The Oregon Journal](https://en.wikipedia.org/api/rest_v1/page/mobile-html/The_Oregon_Journal “The Oregon Journal”)*, planted flowers in the hole and named it after his column in the paper, “Mill Ends” (a reference to leftover irregular pieces of wood at lumber mills).
Thanks Dick Fagan!
The sign is half the park.
It’s a record!
No, it’s a park. A record plays music.
I wanna see it at Xmas. I’ll bet it’s lit.
Some bastards destroyed the tree 😑
Leslie Knope would be proud.
