Maybe it’s just me, but I get unreasonable angry when I have to read “u” and “ur.” I can’t really explain why, but I’d love it if people could write “you” and “your”/“you’re”, is it asking too much for people to add the extra “y” and “o” (or whatever)?
Whilst I don’t agree with it I do understand why people might want to shorten longer words (eg; whatever to w/eva. Or to be honest as tbh). It saves a tiny bit of time and space.
But when I see u and ur I just think, “this muppet doesn’t know the difference between your/you’re/yaw/yore and therefore just dumbs it down to this shit to cover it up!”
Also I used to know a person who would spell anyways as newaizz (sometimes there would be S’s, not zeds).

Why? I’ve no fucking idea. It’s the exact same amount of letters, just spelt in a more stupid way!!
That one word being spelt blatantly incorrectly made me seriously judge him and his ideas for years.

It’s interesting to me that I get super annoyed at people confusing your and you’re but if I write “ur” I use it for both anyway (and don’t find it weird to read).
Life is hard. If you wanna relax with your social media chats and just do what’s easy I ain’t mad about it. I like seeing how people communicate when they don’t have to follow every piddley rule. ppl r v creativ with language when they’re allowed to be.
