I mean I get you, but it does need to be totally open for editting, and that’s what the history and discussion pages are for–to add some hive mind filtering.
It bothers me when wiki becomes seen as gospel by those that may not have history on something, and so it needs a method of alteration. Sure that will be abused, but then it gets rolled back.
I never found Wikipedia vandalism to be funny.
Doesn’t have to be vandalism, you can edit the site with Developer Tools and take a screenshot…

Inspect element? Or many other various ways of making a fake wikipedia screenshot that don’t involve editing the actual article.
