The soviets, sure. They sent people to the meat grinder. Especially people from the soviet “republics” that weren’t Russia. Yes, our people also fought the nazis as part of the soviet empire, but our reward for it was half a century of occupation by the red fascists.
There were also plenty of non soviets fighting against the nazis, but you make it sound quite a bit simpler than it really was, when the truth is that two empires clashed and the one that won was barely better than the one that lost.
Or is your mind so simplistic that you think beating “the bad guys” makes the other side “the good guys”? If that was the case, we’d be considering Americans the good guys because of WWII too.
Tell me your people have never lived under genocidal soviet rule without telling me.

I am sorry but the US not exactly against the Nazis. They appointed a bunch of Nazi war criminals in positions in NATO.
