Random-post fodder: I run a small free project for people grinding IT certification exams, and the one lesson worth sharing outside the niche is that “practice test” quality varies wildly. Most of what you find online is a dump of answers with no reasoning, which teaches you to memorise question wording rather than the material - and vendors rotate item banks specifically to punish that.
What actually works is boring: questions mapped to the published exam blueprint weights, a written explanation for every option (why the wrong ones are wrong, not just why the right one is right), and timed runs so you learn to pace.
