Where are you getting that people who survive are happy? Happy immediately or over time eventually they’re glad? What about all the people who have multiple attempts? Maybe some are jolted out of their mindset when suicide intervention happens, sure, but how many are just trying to get out of psychiatric care/ suicide watch by agreeing they’re happy now. Also maybe people who don’t succeed are half assing the attempt and of course are happy in the end it didn’t work out. Idk. As someone who attempted this line always rings untrue to me.
