    Everyone can access a website. So of all the options they have, a simple blog is the best. Stop defending shitty practices.

      Honestly If i have to make an Account for a Website for every Single game that would be annoying aswell… If a game is on steam they should Post These Things on steam and be active in the steam Forums as devs.

        You wouldnt have to create any account. Websites dont need accounts by default. You would type in their blog URL and scroll through a record of their updates and comments, no extra friction.

        If they wanted to host their own forums, OpenID exists to let people use existing credentials. They could also embrace Steam’s blogging and forums, as you said, which is better than Discord at least.
