I think the first prominent example of this was when those kids were trapped in a cave and everyone laughed at his dumb ideas to get them out and he lashed out calling a rescuer a pedo. A smarter billionaire would have just offered to pay for any logistical support they required and in the aftermath maybe given a stipend for the dead rescuers and built the kids a football pitch.
