I read Stephen King’s “Insomnia” in one night.
When asked how I did it, I said it was easy, I didn’t sleep.
“I followed the directions” is what I expected from the punchline.
I listened to Faithless instead
I read a book called the History of Helium recently. I couldn’t put it down!
Not the light reading I would have expected.
900 pages is nice. It’s enough to get me engaged, but not enough to drag.

And there are entire books where NOTHING HAPPENS.
i don’t think that’s really fair, for example, in the slowest one I grew to hate Faile more than any other character in literary history, and that’s technically a result of character exploration.
Excuse me, a lot of braids got tugged in those books.
Me rn after i ran out of chapters that were adapted into manga form already so now im continuing with the original novel form instead. Its 5800 pages O.O i still have ~3000 left
