The answer, sadly, is literally most people with an internet connection and a desire for social media. And that fact makes even more people use it due to the network effect.
I don’t think most people use it. I know so maybe people and no one I know seems to use it especially not now. I never used it when it was twitter though. Maybe I’m just not talking to the right people
