Just to make sure I don’t accidentally be an asshole, when downloading stuff from Soulseek, is it customary to add the stuff you download to shared files? I’m relatively new to this so I’m unsure what the customary standards are.

Nah, it’s more just understanding what’s expected of me. Like people are uploading shit for free, and I have gotten the “you better be sharing” auto-messages too. Definitely don’t wanna be a leech, but also wasn’t sure if there’s some kind of etiquette to resharing files. Seems like a silly question honestly, but my policy is it’s always sillier not to ask.
