It’s fine until you pass under a low bridge.
I guess you just RAM it. 😋
My guess would be that frame built for it extends out to the ground and you winch the boat up onto it.
Yea, with rollers/slides like a conventional trailer a winch would have little issue today.
Mini jet boats are neat
What’s crazy is they’ve been around forever.
I remember seeing them on rivers in the 80’s - they’d do circles around our speed boat as we cruised at 30/40 knots.
They used them in a 60’s Bond movie.
I’d always though they originated with Jet skis.
Easy. They just drive the truck into the water frontwards (note the angle of the boat) and float the boat on. Just like with a trailer. Obviously, they’ve done a hundred thousand dollars worth of modifications to the truck to make it completely water tight, and added ballast in the bed to ensure it can’t float. All completely reasonable.
This isn’t it, but it is the general theme

They’re much less hassle to drive around than trailers as long as you avoid parking garages.
Very carefully.
Someone needs a bigger pickup truck.
I’ve seen different versions of these that extend over the cab where people will park two side-by-sides on top of their truck. It looks ridiculous and has to give the truck some wonky center-of-gravity.
And what little aerodynamics it had are gone.
But then it’s not like trucks have any in the first place.
I can see the advantage though - trailering has its own problems especially where you’re taking a quad.
That rear suspension hasnt even moved.
When the truck is in heat this just happens naturally sometimes.
And I thought people were bad about backing off the end of ramps with regular trailers.
This would be way easier - just back straight.
Most people struggle with trailers going forward, backing is a real challenge.
This you back up till you’re at the end of the ramp, extend the rails, and let the winch ease it out. Not rally that different from loading a boat on a trailer - they get heavier as the come out of the water so you need rollers or sliders.
I respect the dedication to the water, send it!

Very carefully.
I’ll see myself out.
You lift it.
Probably very slickery due to lake algae and such
That should all be good just so long as you remember to lift with your knees and not your back.
