Yeah, I definitely had to come back to this after some coffee. I thought the first two panels were of the same family and this was some weird time progression situation. Couldn’t figure out where the other person imagining the scenario in the third panel came from.
What threw me was that there is a guy in a blue shirt with grey hair at both tables
