minus-squareLain@leminal.spaceOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·35 minutes agoI had this once In high school, it was rlly nice :3
minus-squareGammelfisch@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·7 hours agoIt’s the after taste that gets me every time I try Natto.
minus-squareSoulg@ani.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·12 hours agoSome* Japanese people eat it. Even among them it’s not universal enjoyed.
minus-squareflying_sheep@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·edit-27 hours agoI personally love it. Add some soy sauce and mustard, stir until foamy, enjoy. I get that some people won’t get over the texture, but people like okra as well so…
minus-squarezarkanian@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up17·16 hours agoIt has the texture of chunky snot. Most of y’all ain’t ready for nattou.
minus-squareSomeonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·13 hours agoIt’s not a very fun meal due to the smell and mess it can make if you’re not careful. The taste isn’t awful but it’s not something I’d go out of my way to eat again.
minus-squareNιƙƙιDιɱҽʂ@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·3 hours agoMy first experience was a hand roll bought at a konbini on the platform of a train station. It was windy and blew the strings of natto into my hair. Tbh though, 10/10, I love natto.

minus-squarezarkanian@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·12 hours agoThe texture doesn’t bother me too much anymore, but those sticky strings are annoying.
