The alert on my phone woke me up, but the grogginess from sleep and the lack of my glasses caused my brain to read “Mitch McConnell has died”, so I sat up and was like, “I KNEW IT!”
So I grabbed my phone and put on my glasses, and saw that it was Lindsay Graham, and thought “Eh… almost as good”. Then I made myself some coffee.

alerts were going off for hours, even past when my sleep-mode switches off. there were, like, 10+ of them going all the way back to 2:35am

I’m not here to educate you on who a pretty famous (and famously shitty) person happens to be, especially when you could very easily look up one of the literally thousands of articles dominating the news today. I suggest you educate yourself-- a habit I wish more people would practice.
