When I was still with my ex my cat used to wake one of us up early in the morning, get breakfast, eat it all, make sure whoever he woke up was sound asleep, and then go wake up the other one of us frantically asking for food again. He was so good at it that we started texting the sleeping person’s phone whenever we fed him, so when he’d wake one of us up the first thing we’d do was check our phone to see if he’d eaten yet and he’d look so disappointed when he realized we were onto his game.
