Yeah, unfortunately homophobic people rarely spell it out so clearly because they know they’ll get in trouble. Which unfortunately works on mainstream social media but thankfully doesn’t work so much here on the fediverse.
I generally try to give people the benefit of doubt, even if I suspect they don’t deserve it. I guess I just haven’t had to deal with enough bad-faith actors to have been worn down by it yet. And it seems unlikely that the ‘phobes would be out in force in blahaj.zone, of all places.
That comment gives vibes of groomer rhetoric about not expressing gayness around children.
That was the vibe I got as well, which is I wanted them to spell out what they took issue with, specifically.
