my hunger for likes and people saying “i like your regular posts, stop posting this lemmy-world friendly slop” is immeasurable and if your day is ruined because of that then i am genuinely sorry and i hope you feel better soon.

and now i sit back and know that my super low quality slop post is ramping in copious amounts of likes and shares. and saves too. maybe.

surely this is worth more than making an actually interesting and nuanced post drawn with love and care. surely THIS deserves to be at the top of lemmy world users front page. surely THIS is what the people WANT TO SEE, isn’t it?

anyway, i just had some noodles with some awesome not home-made pesto and now u get to flame me for not making it myself since its “so easy to make”. go on. do it. i’m waiting. write a comment starting with “it actually is easy! […]”

    i made that table-like post last time to test the waters and ye, peeps like that kind of content better…

    i-… hmm. the way i feel about reposts is similar to the way i feel about slideshow templates.

    some peeps just… use powerpoint and let their content be arranged for them. they use google to pull improperly licensed images, they have like 2 sources and they get the job done.they might even get praised by the teach.

    some peeps say thats fine, and it is, it does get “the job” done. but wheres the fun in that?

    … now im furious about slideshow templates too… i want to make a good slideshow, i want to present well, i want to put pixabay sources at the foot of each slide for the images used, i want to credit the artists / photographers who made the slide possible and i want to make oc stuff… sure, copyright bad, i know, but sources good i think.

    you are absolutely right ✅ — reposting the highest quality posts from other websites is the best way to let good content bubble up due to its quality, rather than where it came from. you truly understand the economics of internet funnies, TotallyNotJessica, and i should start investing too.
