Dear fellow sailors who use VPN for torrenting: which country or countries do you prefer as exit points, and why?
I remember some posts around the net from years ago suggesting Spain. But I’ve also seen Switzerland recommended.

Partly depends on the service you’re using, but short version is use the closest connection you can that isn’t in the EU.

Please stop! I quite often have to change it to neighbouring countries because our servers are always slow and overloaded …
I use non EU european for preference. Albania Serbia etc.
Idk, in Hungary no-one uses a VPN, as neither studios nor institutions really care about piracy there
When I lived in Hungary for a few years I heard from friends that there was a joke going around “Even the police asks for a private tracker invite”
Depends on your entry point. If youre in a country, don’t use that country. I you’re in EU, don’t use EU.
