I just looked to see if Proton was available on Mac yet. Search results imply “basically, no.” I found a 2023 article from Linus Tech Tips about GPTK (Game Porting Tool Kit) which is a terminal thing which uses some Crossover code. This isn’t new, but it’s not a user friendly solution.
I get that on Reddit, a snarky remark would get you lots of upvotes, and you could later sell the account to advertisers and a lot of people did that, but on Lemmy, votes don’t really matter, I think it’s just for show. Basically every windows games except for a few with kernel level anti-cheat that I wouldn’t install anyways runs fine on proton?
