It’s very obvious I’m targeted with botted downvotes on reddit and piefed, but of course a lot of people are also bot-brained.
I’m curious what people here think of this particular example from the comments on my last post here.
They upvote someone giving me an irrelevant link while pretending it’s relevant, but they downvote the shit out of me explaining why it’s not relevant. For context, the discussion was about a shell script I was trying to develop to store data in the corner of a video using QR codes.
Here’s the github link they posted.
The original thread is removed now, so this link to see more of the context won’t work. I also can’t copy and paste from the original post to provide more context, because unlike reddit, piefed doesn’t let me see my own posts after they’ve been removed.
One of the mods/admins here also harassed me and temporarily banned me, they are now blocked and I’m sure they’ll end up permanently banning me, but in the mean time I’m curious what people think here.

Have you tried actually using it? Nobody should make assumptions, but you especially should stop. None of them are ever even close to reality, and you wanna claim everyone and everything is lying to you when told you’re an idiot.
This github repo will make you a millionaire
The readme does not mention real world use cases
I said I would need to see proof of it working, why the fuck would I let everyone that hates me make me spend hours doing a 10x more than needed investigation of every fucking irrelevant link they can come up with
Showcase it working in real world conditions (you can’t because it definitely doesn’t) or shut the fuck up moron
If you understood what it did, you would be able to figure out a use for it yourself. It’s not that complicated. It encodes literally any data, into a video. 🤦♂️
You wanna send a hidden message through a video of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up so the average person would think it’s just a Rick Roll and not actually a hidden message, you could use this program.
