FYI in standard English it would be “spatial” not “spacial”, for yet another edition of “the English language has lots of silly rules and spellings that don’t always match up”
With all respect im not sure you are right or that it matters, fwiw im not actively learning english, im pretty sick at it
I’m a native English speaker and spatial is correct.
“Spacial” is a misspelling that became oddly popular for some in AR and VR, but it is absolutely a misspelling of spatial.
I would be considered also a “native” english speaker, and i do not like this dictionary adherant approach to speech, who holds the truth?, it is everhwhere, now you can make an argument that I should use spatial which would have some sense to it, but i am not “wrong”
Common use is what holds the truth, or people will have trouble understanding what you’ve written, which had already happened in this post.
If you dont want anyone to understand, go for it I guess, good luck.
good luck nativing your way through life nativemcgee
this is some A tier american exceptionalism
never saw a mental breakdown happen in real time before
Again there is no truth even in common use, only utility

oh and WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE ASSHOLE: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/spacial
To be fair I am ancient and loved spatial cause it reminds me of spatula but it’s for space. So I didn’t know spacial and looked it up and was confused why it was all techbro companies lol, till I came to the comments
Not to stop you from living your life, but I do want to highlight spatial does have legs to stand on (vis-à-via previously mentioned spatula connection that likely only I have made)
(Also my first guess for spacial was a facial in space, dealer’s choice on the type of facial I suppose)
"Alternative spelling of spatial. "
So… What I already said?
Cool.
Sorry you’re so mad about my offer to help with spelling. Dont worry, I’ve already tagged you so I won’t bother with you again.
although i appreciate your helpful approach
Can you explain to me what “spacial db-s” means?
Spacial databases? Some kind of AI slop thing?
spatial data is the representation of objects in some geometric space, think open street map or maybe the location of things in a well mapped warehouse, a spatial database is meant to store stuff like that.
spacial database, i used postgres and postGIS
Oh okay, the dash had me confused.
What are you using it for, exactly?
I was not using it, this was mandated by a university course which i only did at the mandate of immigration pigs because the better one fell through
Not sure I understand that right, can you explain? Does this have something to do with ICE? Who fell through what?
I mean that national ideologues enforce conceptions of foreigners who must dance a little dance for 5 or more years, and part of that is “studying”, so when a course i was to do was cancelled i had to choose a chumpy backup
It is for dealing with 2 and 3d data in a database, so one can create views upon data that are calculated by use of geometric functions for example
Sounds interesting! So everything we see in these pictures has been calculated from spacial information taken from a “regular” relational database?
yep so it is all still tables, and they contain abstractions like lines and vectors, its nothing new over a tuple over maybe worsening the generality of general data structures, or improving computational efficiency. Then you get some functions to join it all together into new perspectives This was all done on gnu guix with postgres, postGIS and the visualisation software
Everything is rough guesses from what I could remember:

Capacity of buildings ( maybe person density i dont remember):

Proč to zrcadlení? (Why the horizontal flip?)
Edit: I speak Czech and don’t get the answer either
Důvod nepamatuju, druhý je zrcadlený pohled z australie :)
It was also rotated 90 degrees for some reason? The river is on the south side of the community.
