i’ve learned recently that the freedom of information act has something like this too. they released some of their files to the public decades ago online and then later re-classify them as national security which enables them to withdraw the files.
and it’s funny because it technically means that you’re breaking the law (if you’re an american) if you read or distribute online version of those files despite them being free available once in the recent past. lol
