As a former sync user, Connect feels pretty good so far. Liftoff is probably more familiar to most, but i appreciated the stupid levels of customization and slightly older *look/feel of sync.
* To clarify, ultra modern ui’s kinda hurt my soul, i dont like the ratio of functionality:pretty. Being able to make the UI show only and exactly what i want is really important to me.
Interesting, I’m using connect as a former baconreader user as the UI feels quite similar
I found both Connect and Thunder to have the “baconreader feel”. However, thunder’s performance is significantly faster than Connect.
I use Connect to view a thread… and would see the loading icon (for a second or so), but with thunder I click on a thread and it’s just there.
I was with rif, connect is having the most stability for me so far.
I’m liking wefwef, as a PWA it feels pretty much just like Apollo
I’m excited for Artemis. I’ve been using Lemmy and Kbin almost equally. Kbin’s default mobile page is highly accessible, more so than Lemmy but I’d prefer an app. Using wefwef for Lemmy and I’m really pleased with it.
There are so many of them thats crazy. I use Wefwef for now but waiting for Sync.
Which will be the first iOS app out of TestFlight? 👀👀👀
Mlem?
Which of these is the best for a reddit is fun style experience in your opinion for Android?
I am new to lemmy and trying to figure out what client to use. I’ve tested thunder and liftoff. So far using liftoff. But looking at other s
Also a former RIF fan and really enjoying Jerboa.
I like Liftoff’s everything feed and Thunder’s pretty interface but newest Jerboa has been most stable and RIF-like for me.
Just tried it. Definitely has a rif feel. Few bugs so far but good. Thanks again!!!
Awesome. Will give it a shot. Thanks for the info.
Do any of them (for android) open weblinks in an external app? Tried thunder, jerboa and liftoff! and not had any luck yet
Thunder gives the option, a switch in the settings!
Wefwef
Thank you sir
Connect for Lemmy opens in its in-app browser but at least give you the three dots menu to then open externally.
Fennec dev here, you can update my app to add community !fennec@lemmy.world and icon :)
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !fennec@lemmy.world](https://lemm.ee/c/fennec@lemmy.world)
Yo, seems like you used your alt to post it lol
Trying out posting from Thunder for the first time.
Found another web interface that tries to replicate old reddit
