Honest question from a clueless cis-person: is they/he different than he/they? Usually I see it written as the latter, so now I’m wondering if there is a difference or just preference, or something else?
He/they and they/he are basically the same. Some people use the order to denote a preference, so He/They would be like “call me either one, but use He more often.”
but is his actually their pronoun as well?
If so it would probably be expressed as they/he
