Yes, but Nvidia finally open sourced their driver so hopefully that’ll change soon
I flew on Porter and their “ad” was just a 30 second thing about how they’re a cool airline. That’s fine, although the real cost is that they make you have a rewards account
Good on you for having such a detailed and well-meaning post, and good on the devs for being so receptive to ideas. I run Immich but am definitely a novice when it comes to self hosting things, so I had no idea this was going on. I don’t have any suggestions for the feature request but the proposed changes to the documentation would be good for people to know its thete and can be changed.
In the US, delivery drivers are paid below minimum wage, not to mention they’re usually using their own cars, so it is expected to tip them to make up the difference. The flyer was saying that the delivery fee doesn’t directly go to drivers, if it did then the tip would actually be optional.
The only way to order from Dominos is to use coupons, and even them I feel like I always spent more than I intend to. I remember a handful of years ago they were putting flyers on the pizza box saying that the delivery few doesn’t count as a tip. Then what’s the delivery fee for???
My friend uses me@<their name>, wonder if that would work better
When I have a concert I usually install the app, load the ticket into my mobile wallet, and delete the app
I found it on Obtanium which you can get from the f-droid store
I chipped in when my friend bought Paranoia Agent on Blu-ray because he promised me the digital copy, so this does affect me. Granted, after learning the news I “found” some rips online for my NAS, but still. It’s not okay.
Isn’t this just Ready Player One?
This looks interesting. Can I automatically import transactions from banks, like what Mint does? I see there’s a web app I can put on my nas that might handle that, but not sure.
OpenMediaVault (Debian), it’s the perfect amount of tinkering and simplicity for my first nas/homeserver
I have a Framework laptop and just installed Ubuntu on it the other day, it works great. Ubuntu and Fedora are officially supported by Framework and there’s a bunch of other distros that are confirmed tested. I have the 13" but the 16" just came out with a dedicated GPU, that’s probably the one to get if you’re going to game on it
You can just set your torrent program to open at startup, as long as you use your computer somewhat often you’ll be fine. Or you can look into a seedbox, it’s cheap
I got around this by just downloading some big freeleech porn packs or a couple new release shows/movies. My highest ratio item is an anime episode I downloaded minutes after release
A private tracker is a torrenting site, like TPB, but is invite-only or has some other barrier to get in. They’re usually safer and faster, bur you have to seed. Also YMMV, obscure things might either not be on there, or have few/no seeds.
I used to be a lot less lenient in the past, but as I’ve gotten older and DRM and streaming services have gotten worse I’ve been sailing the high seas more. Now I’ll do it if there’s no reasonably easy/convenient way to buy it in my country, if the work is old/big enough that nobody creatively involved is going to notice, or if I already bought the same or similar version in the past (such as wanting a movie for my Plex server that I know my parents have on DVD somewhere). Sometimes I’ll “acquire” something and end up financially supporting it down the line if I like it.
I do agree with some of the other comments though, that for things like software where there’s an alternate FOSS or independent version, I’ll go for that. I’ve begun getting in the habit of donating or paying one-time purchases (such as ad removal) on software I use a lot.
I found it via the Podcast Addict search. This is the feed link: https://500songs.com/feed/podcast/
Is this also on WhatsApp? I got all the other Meta junk off my phone except that, since I need it for some family abroad
