From my personal experience, ubuntu has been way easier (more of “it just works”) than linux mint. What’s the reason behind people preferring and recommending mint? Is it only the UI?

What are you on about? None of these things are comparable to an AI agent. Also, I cannot believe you’re not aware of this, but it’s very common that a majority of drugs are illegal.
If full self-driving mode is likely to kill you, it shouldn’t be able to be enabled in the first place. It’s simply there to make the company’s product look better, by being able to claim that the car has full self-driving, despite being a shitty functionality in practice.
If a car is presented as fully self-driving and it crashes, then it’s not he passengers fault. If your automatic tool can fuck up your shit, it’s the company’s responsibility to not present it as automatic.
It’s an AI agent which made a decision to run a cli command and it resulted in a drive being wiped. Please consider the context
If you could speak to the cleaver and it was presented and advertised as having human intelligence, I would expect that functionality to keep working (and maybe get some more apologies, at the very least) despite it making a decision that resulted in me being cut.

Marginally better UI means nothing to me if the distro can’t handle basic features like audio through HDMI, therefore I’ll choose pretty much any distro over mint.
