if you’re coming from a feature phone you probably expect the modem to work reliably and support volte

stack overflow at least is polite enough to call you a moron for asking

also have a one-plus 6t, mms and SMS are also spotty

if there was any voice protocol with anywhere near the adoption rate of phone service I could understand this

aside from raspberry pi(s) and phone storage I don’t see any significant reason to justify paying for a more durable SD card
