MILF is a moving target. As a teenager it could have meant adult. These days (my 30s) it just means age appropriate and has kids, especially with a mom bod, except when it doesn’t because it can also mean age appropriate for my parents but I’m hitting on her anyways.

20 absolutely isn’t a milf unless you have kids, and even then… I’m not going to call you a baby, I hated when people did that to me at your age, but girl, in my country you can’t even drink, for us you don’t feel like an adult socially until 21. I started hormones at 20 and am barely not considered an early transitioner. I still rarely meet transfems who started as young as I did irl.

It really depends on the situation. Two people of similar intoxication levels can consent. But at the same time when with an intoxicated person you need to be making certain they’re moving forward with you and consenting.

At least that’s my perspective as someone who will get involved with strangers while drinking at bars.

When someone’s blacked out or unable to enthusiastically consent (ie advance the acts of their own volition without being pressured or otherwise coerced) then they fundamentally can’t consent

  • Yeah I went back and looked at what mine looked like at 8 months and they were bigger than yours but not by much. For comparison I’m over a decade into hormones and recently posted a pic of my boobs.

As for what’s changed, I think that’s partly it. When I started it was the default to be given oral estrogen and have to request injections or explain sublingual to your doctor. But I think there’s more to it as well, the rise of estrogen monotherapy may be a factor. But also, you used to get tapered on, and slowly at that, rather than just being given the standard dose and seeing how your levels looked. It used to be much more common for doctors to target low end of female levels than the middle/what feels right. But also, the rise in telling trans women to eat while transitioning rather than the pressure to lose weight while transitioning is something I suspect is huge. We used to hold ourselves much closer to mainstream cishet beauty standards and with that was an expectation of skinniness, despite the fact that it can wait until you’re done with the major changes to your body from going through puberty again.

And yeah, self care is vital. I know it’s cliche to say that nobody else can love you until you love yourself, and it’s not quite true, my wife started loving me before then. But not loving yourself and especially not taking care of yourself does make it take more work for others to love you, and it was a point of conflict early in my relationship. It also leaves you more at risk of abusive relationships. And as for what to do about it: make friends and try to attend trans community events, especially ones focused on transfems.

And yeah, that’s generally a healthy approach. I dislike the risks and side effects of them. I really wish that fat replacement augmentation was safer, if it was I’d likely do it, but that’s as someone who feels cheated out of large boobs and has to settle for medium.

  • 8 months is earlyish. You should have some growth by now, but it could be pretty small. They often grow a lot between 6-24 months. They’ll continue with mild growth throughout adulthood. Also some people experience puberty faster or slower than others.

I’ll admit, recent transitioners these days seem to be getting way more tit than was normal back in my day. I was downright stacked for a trans woman 9 years ago, but I’m still nowhere near some of my family (but also bustier than some).

So yeah, make a point to eat when you’re hungry, and if you notice you’re really hungry lately compared to usual that’s a sign to eat your fill because your chest is going to be sore soon.

And yeah, unfortunately it’s like gardening, you can’t force them to grow, but you can give them every opportunity to grow as much as they will. After about 2 or so years of hormones if you’re still unsatisfied you can look into if surgical options are right for you (I personally lean away from them and recommend reevaluating your relationship with your body and trying to love it as it is over a boob job, but I still consider one every once in a while)
