Iirc that project was dropped long ago due to lack of users and Microsoft constantly making it more and more difficult

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•How is everyone dealing with Android 17's "Nearby Devices" change?English
0·1 个月前I gave permission to Firefox, but honestly most of my services weren’t affected because I connect to 99% of them via Tailscale which doesn’t seem to trigger the permission. (Yes that was an absolute nightmare to figure out why only one service was failing to connect)
I love these styles of hardware kits. Great for getting a variety of everything, but I don’t think I have ever owned one that didn’t have at least one spelling mistake

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Would you swap out Bazzite to SteamOS on your HTPC?English
0·4 个月前They are both good options. The general way I break it down is:
Is this your first Linux PC? Bazzite
Is this a home theater PC or other console like device? Bazzite
Do you have a lot of specialized hardware that needs custom drivers / kernel modules? CachyOS
Do you want to be able to more easily customize parts of the os? CachyOS
Obviously not every case is covered here but hopefully that gives you a bit more of an idea of what each distro is better at. Performance wise they are nearly identical, tbh the biggest difference is that Bazzite is an atomic distro and CachyOS isn’t.
I was able to get mine working by setting it up as a network printer via windows and then just accessing it like that through Linux. But yeah, if I ever change wifi ssids I would need to factory reset it go back into windows and configure it again. (ET2400)
While just running better for most of the tasks I do (and being more customizable) are a huge plus. I am also personally sick of the way Microsoft (and most other large corporations) do business. So Linux is my way to do what I can to not support them and move towards a better future.
This is 100% a Celeste tutorial. And yeah the OST is excellent. I may or may not have the entirety on vinyl lol
Out of interest by “selfhosting” steam are you running a steam cache or just using it? Or is there something else I’m missing lol

Yes, but Microsoft can’t prove that in court without also admitting that they also owe every artist copilot (and all other ais) were trained on. Actually no wait. Microsoft please sue these guys, it will better the world.
