I’ve been replacing my Steam catalog on GOG and most games have been under $5 in sales. The last game I paid more than $4.99 for was Baldur’s Gate 3, when it came out.
Exchange rates are valid, though. Those can be absolutely ridiculous.
Being broke or screwed by exchange rates is also a valid reason.
